Many thanks and love.
Clothing is important, agree? It has the power to highlight our best assets and arm minimize our worst.
So it is totally understandable that you will want your wedding dress to be perfect ( or at least near perfect). After all, your wedding is bound to be one of the most important days of your life, and the necessity for a bridal dress that is as beautiful as it is comfortable and as elegant as it is timeless.
Whether you’re making your wedding dress from scratch, sourcing it from a designer or doing a bit of both, it’s always important to keep things in perspective. Love and Kindness Bridal Langkawi recognize this is a real issue for many brides so we have complied a checklist. S.Grace Lau writes on signs that you may need to take a step back and relax . . .
It can be an emotional time for brides when it comes to preparing a wedding. With a slightest thing goes wrong with your dress, you find yourself in tears and it is a pretty clear sign that you’re in TOO DEEP. Please. Try reminding yourself that in the end your dress will no doubt be perfect. Let your seamstress or designer do their jobs. They know what they are doing and if you won’t settle for anything less than the best, neither will they.
Do not laugh. It is the truth. Think for a second about the last time you paid this much attention to an inanimate object. If your dress is turning out to be more of a focus than your future husband, something is really wrong. True enough, your dress is important, but the relationship with your future husband is far more. Include your future husband in the planning of your dress. Drag him along to some of your fittings. Let him get stressed too.
Don’t compare. Keeping things local will guarantee less stress, faster turnaround times and an overall happier and calmer bride. Take a step back and reassess. You will eventually end up with a beautiful dress. So don’t let yourself be a mess. Instead, enjoy the moment and be happy.
IT has been exactly two years since he proposed. My very first blog on The Proposal.
It is his day, it’s your day! Guy gets on bended knees. Whips out a rock, pops the Q, girl squeals with delight, some even cry. Well, at least that’s the way it used to go. These days, prospective grooms are doing whatever they can – filming movie trailers, rewriting scripts and get families/ friends to be involved. following the proposal with surprise nuptials – to ensure that it is an everlasting moment. It seems like the guys are making the effort and not the girls? Well, girls, we’ve got you covered, too; not only the surprising reactions you may have when you’re proposed to – but whether you should be the one to bend a knee. S.Grace Lau writes.
I personally feel that when it comes to the proposal, both genders can do the magic. Watching Hollywood moments since I could remember for the past 25 years, has taught me a thing or two on tips for the perfect proposal:
Wait, that’s a job? The bottom line, proposal is a JOB!
My all-time- favorite screen proposals that have made me cry ( and laugh) too are:
